The municipality of Nevesinje represents a typical area characterized by all surface and underground karst forms and all phenomena of surface and underground hydrography. Of the large number of caves, the most famous one in the municipality should definitely be singled out. It is a natural monument, the hajduk's cave of Old Novak - Novakuša. What makes it special is that it is located at the bottom of a stone amphitheater with vertical walls up to 100 meters high in some places. The opening itself is also of an imposing size, 70 meters wide and 20 meters high. After the opening, visitors are greeted by a huge hall, much larger than the entrance itself. Vertical and horizontal corridors extend from the hall in many places, and one of them leads to a smaller hall, which legend says is the room of Starine Novak. There is also a stone bed in it, which, according to the story, the hajduk used to rest.
The cave offers a variety of karst features, and its authenticity lies in its true beauty that leaves lasting impressions and makes the visit unforgettable.
